Directions

From Highway 101 Northbound

  1. Exit Moffett Blvd./NASA Parkway
  2. At the stoplight, turn right
  3. Proceed to the main gate and obtain directions to Building 3

From Highway 101 Southbound

  1. Exit Moffett Blvd./NASA Parkway
  2. At the stoplight, turn right
  3. Proceed to the main gate and obtain directions to Building 3

From Central Expressway East (from Mountain View) or West (from Sunnyvale)

  1. Exit Moffett Blvd.
  2. Go straight, passing 5 stoplights
  3. Proceed to the main gate and obtain directions to Building 3

From Highway 85 (Cupertino area)

  1. Exit Moffett Blvd.
  2. Take a right at the stoplight
  3. Go straight, staying in the right lane, passing three stoplights
  4. Proceed to the main gate and obtain directions to Building 3

From 880 (Fremont area)

  1. Get on Hwy 237 West going towards Mountain View
  2. Take the Highway 101 North exit
  3. Proceed to the main gate and obtain directions to Building 3

From El Camino Real

  1. Take Castro Street and go straight; Castro becomes Moffett Blvd. at the Central Expressway intersection
  2. Go straight, passing 5 stoplights
  3. Proceed to the main gate and obtain directions to Building 3

Transportation

There are two major airports near NASA Ames Research Center: the San Jose Airport (SJC) and the San Francisco International (SFO) Airport. SJC is located about 10 miles from Ames, and SFO is located about 25 miles away. The following table includes information on shuttle and taxi service from these airports:
